JAC HAUDENSCHILD
2021 marks the 48th consecutive season of racing for Jac Haudenschild. All indications point towards this season being the final year that Jac will compete behind the wheel of a racecar. What a ride it's been...
Jac is a second generation racer who grew up watching his Dad (John) and brother (Ed) race around the area. Jac got the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a car owned by his Dad in 1974. It didn't take him long to get up to speed and he earned his first win at Lakeville the following year.
Racing was in his blood and from that point forward, it's been all he's ever known. Throughout the years, Jac has raced many types of open wheel cars including Winged Sprints, NonWinged Sprints, Midgets and Champ Cars.
Jac has criss-crossed the country chasing big races for most of his career, including 18 seasons in which he ran full-time on the World of Outlaws tour.
Jac has been blessed to race for some incredible car owners throughout his career, including the late Jack Elden. The 'Jac and Jack' pairing during the 90's was one of the longest tenured and most successful driver/owner combos in the history of Sprint Car racing, lasting over eight seasons.
Jac has joined forces with good friend Rico Abreu for the 2021 season. Rico will field a Rico Abreu Racing #24 machine for Jac in 25 events this season. Official schedule will be determined a later date.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
NATIONAL SPRINT CAR HALL OF FAME
In 2009, Jac received the highest honor available to Sprint Car drivers; that being induction into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in Knoxville, IA. Making the induction even more memorable was the fact Jac was elected while still being an active driver within the sport - a rare feat bestowed upon only the most decorated drivers.
